Connor joined Mary Brown's in Lisburn because he wanted kitchen work with a clear standard. He learned cook times, holding and plating in his first fortnight.

He likes the pride the team takes in the product. Guests come in knowing what they want, and the kitchen's job is to hit that every time.

He is now training new starters on the fryers and wants to step up to shift supervisor.
